What we offer

We very much believe in offering the children in our care stimulation and education through, play and activities both at our home and also through visits to venues and favourite places. These include such places as Wildfowl and Wetlands in Arundel, Staunton Farm and Amberley Chalkpits Museum as well as play parks, local woodland and, of course, local beaches. We all play, explore and learn together as a very closely supervised and mutually supportive group.

As we are home-based we are able to offer the children a very secure and homely environment, this then allows us to cater each day for the age-range and personal preferences when choosing activities and play destinations. We believe this security encourages the children to develop at their own pace and promotes self-confidence and their naturally inquisitive nature.

Whilst at home we offer a wide range of activities very much based around creativity and learning. These include cooking, painting, an ever-changing array of crafting as well as story-time and singing. We have a dedicated all-weather outdoor play area that the children enjoy all year round. Of course, we also have some quiet times when children can just play, read books and sometimes watch a little television.

We are a small childcare setting and the children are very closely supervised at all times. They are always encouraged to treat each other with respect and understanding and form very strong bonds with each other. We encourage the children to develop and learn together through play, learning to express their own emotions and learning to be aware of the needs and emotions of each other. We all explore, play and learn together.

We also post regular updates of our activities to our Facebook page here.
